Your information,
handled with care.

How we use the details you share with pea + pod interiors.

Last updated October 2, 2026

01

Information you share

When you inquire, we collect your name, email, city, country, room type and project ideas. You may also share your timing, furnishing budget, currency and pieces you want to keep.

If you become a client, we may need your project and billing addresses, room measurements, room photographs, preferences, correspondence and records of your agreement and payments. Please provide only what is relevant to your project.

02

How we use it

We use these details to respond to your inquiry, assess whether the service suits your project, prepare proposals and invoices, develop your design and provide agreed support. We also keep records needed for business administration, resolving concerns and legal obligations.

Submitting an inquiry asks us to contact you about that inquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information. We will ask separately before using identifiable client photographs or project details in our portfolio or marketing.

03

Services that help us

Our inquiry form sends your entries to the studio through HoneyBook, which supports inquiry management, project correspondence, agreements and invoicing. Google Workspace also supports project correspondence and file storage. Our website is hosted through OpenAI’s Sites service.

Information needed to deliver your project may be handled by our document, presentation, invoicing or payment providers. If we send you an online payment link, that provider handles your payment details; please do not put card details in the inquiry form or email.

These providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local laws may permit access by courts or authorities. Third-party websites, including retailers linked in a shopping guide, have their own privacy practices.

04

Website data + cookies

Website hosting and form services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request logs to deliver and protect their services. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves requests to Google.

If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic sources, pages viewed and clicks on our guide-download, inquiry and discovery-call links. Google processes cookie-based identifiers, basic device information and approximate location derived from your IP address, and may process data outside Canada. We do not send names, email addresses, inquiry entries or room photographs to Analytics. Advertising features and Google Signals are off. A click does not confirm an inquiry or booking.

Analytics stays off unless you allow it. You can decline or change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer. We remember your choice for up to six months and limit our Analytics cookies to six months. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Hosting, sign-in and form providers may use cookies or similar technologies for their own functionality and security. You can manage cookies in your browser; blocking them may affect some features.

05

Children + room photographs

Our services are intended for parents and other adults. A child’s full name, exact birth date or photograph is not needed for an initial inquiry. Please leave out medical information, identity documents and other sensitive details.

For room photographs, avoid including people, visible documents or identifying details that are not needed for the design. Please share information about other people only when you have permission to do so.

06

Keeping information

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including project support and applicable recordkeeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or anonymized. Provider backups may follow separate deletion schedules.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, including account access controls. No online service or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

07

Your choices + questions

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion, withdraw consent to a particular use, or raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons. Withdrawing information needed to carry out your project may affect the services we can provide.

For privacy questions or requests, contact the person responsible for privacy at pea + pod interiors in Toronto, Ontario, at erica@peaandpod.ca. Please identify your message as a privacy request. We may need to confirm your identity before providing or changing records. If a concern remains unresolved, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
